It all sounds like sci-fi but I can imagine that there are families with similar destiny. I just wonder how these two 'moms' were feeling all the time and I can't believe that the biological mom forgave her father. Such a deed can't be forgiven. Or at least it sounds so.. but it's your story and I believe you :)

Yes, it's actually difficult to forgive in this situation, but she just had to for her daughter's sake. And the "forgiving him" I meant was not allowing him to spend some time in jail. If she takes him to jail, it will definitely be a poor way of taking her daughter back. She just had to forgive him.
And I might continue the story.
