Where the beam landed on the ground, there were creatures popping out of thin air. I froze, could not even breath. They were only about 4 feet tall, bone legged with long thin arms, they started wobbling around as more appeared. The count was up to about 50 in less than a minute, and then the beam disappeared. They were quiet, not even a peep, all the noise came from the police cars flying up the road. I had this uneasy feeling about the police cars coming up the dirt road into the trailer park where I lived, but on the other hand for some strange reason I felt at ease by the arrival of these little guys. When the police pulled up they started demanding that the creatures stand still, I thought to myself, "what a fucking joke", 4 or 5 of the creatures started walking towards the cops. The cops’ voices grew louder until one of them fired at the creatures. When the bullets hit the creature, it was like the creature ingested the energy and mass off the bullet causing a little bit of light where the bullet hit. They all looked at each other and then put their hands up, A florescent light joined over their hands and then dispersed rapidly towards the cops. When it reached the cop cars I saw all the cops drop like bags of rocks. I ran towards them as fast as I could. When I stood over the cop that was closest to my house, I realized that he didn’t have neither a scrape or a bruise, he was sound asleep- with a smile on his face at that. My intuition was correct, these little guys aren’t hostile at all.
