LEGO Star Wars Story, Part 49: "The Final Frontier"

The storm is coming, the Emperor can sense it. It has already begun, the beginning of the end of the rebellion. the Empire's new rule over the galaxy with no resistance, pure and ultimate control. Too bad he has been dead for months already... Snoke's in full control over the Empire since he replaced the ex leader he murdered in cold blood with a remote replacement drone droid which took the shape and all the features of the old man, be it physical or deeply supernatural...

Thousands of light years away from the uncomfortable black throne in the cold dark red and black room, the rebels are fighting for their lives, and they're not going to give up any time soon... The Empire's troops of darkness and destruction have broken through the rebel blockades and defenses, this is the final one, the last thing standing between the Empire's dark fist and complete control over the galaxy of thousands of species and planets soon to be enslaved in the Empire's infernal conquest for control...

The line of shooters dressed in identical armor which is widely recognised as the symbol of Empire's tyranny and oppression are setting up to take over this checkpoint to get one step closer to winning this war for their lords and masters they have most likely never even seen in person before. With more blasters and thermal detonators the rebellion has ever been able to gather this single platoon is going to battle, more appropriately called genocide as the resistance is almost too weak to fight.

But they know what this means, this battle will decide the fate of this and many more galaxies the Empire will be able to conquer after this one. They are not ready to die, no one ever is, but they will fight with all their strength and all their heart against the white devils in the snowy hells. They throw crates on piles in order to have at least some sort of shield against the oncoming barrage of lasers and death. They peek to see what is coming which they regret right after, there is no escape, they must die...

They inform Echo Base that the Empire has broken through to the last barrier, to hurry up with the evacuation as it will not be long before the Imperial forces get to them. The AT-AT, seemingly resistant to damage of any kind just walks through the barrier, even ignoring the turret which has taken another one down just a few hours ago. Not to say the blockades haven't been worth the effort, the Empire has lost all their AT-ATs but one, seemingly the invincible one, soon it will get through the bases deflector shields and then doom is upon the Rebel Alliance...

The signal is given and the barrage of death and destruction begins, the allies of chaos dressed in snowtrooper armor bring the damnation of the high heavens raining down upon the rebels like snow... The cannons fire, the blasters unload and the rebels fall. The lasers hit the white snow turning it melting it and revealing more bodies buried in it. This is the final frontier and it is falling...
