strange noise covered the woods as Koba slowly steps on dry leaves, tears rolled down her eyes when she finally came to the realisation that she was going to die, if death was the only thing, perhaps she wouldn't have felt much pain.
Leaving her baby behind was the main cause of her bane. A child she she had gone this far to protect, what will become of him when she dies?
Hailing and chatter distantly echoed, Koba fastened her steps and gradually she engaged. She bursted out in an open field, beside the sea shore. Her pursuers must have retreated she hoped.
She walked faintly on the white sands that swallows her toe.
with blood all over her linen gown, she refused to lose an inch grip on her baby boy as she rolled him to herself with her two hands folded across him.
As she drew closer to the river bank, Koba felt an awakening weakness which brought her to her knees as She gave a weak sound."As you grow up my baby, forget not to retrace these steps back to your ancestral clan, a great man i see in you,she smiled.
The woman lay hold of the arrow that hanged tightly to her stomach, in great pain she withdrew it from her body, she sighed in relieve and panted in hurry.
Koba was a warrior and a Queen as well, but the web surrounding her Royalty and her present state Remains a mystery.......
She held the arrow as though she was holding a pen, from its edge to its tip flowed thick drops of blood.
with her left hand she brought out her sleeping baby's right hand, gently she made an inscription with deep scares on him,"AMON", The helpless boy winked tightly and bursted into tears with his mouth wide open."shhhh!, worst is the pain you will feel when you trace back you root. Hence your heart shall be turned black against your foes, and your human sympathy shall fade at the sight of your conspirators, less you fall into the hands of those who betrayed your father.
Koba fell beside her son,and as the scream of the wounded child got louder, further sailed koba to realm unknown..

"what?, king Zulian shouted outrageously, "what do you mean you lost them?, do you know the implication of what you have done?
"am sorry my king, i will make sure i find them before sunset tomorrow, me and my men, Lozo pleaded.
"No, i don't need you in this business anymore, for another shall take your place,
Now all i need you do is to execute justice to yourself before my very eyes.
Lozo brought out his sword with honor and enthusiasm, he fastened its edge on his trout, blood splashed and gushed out from his exposed gullet, and he fell down lifeless to the ground.
"Take his body to the field for the vultures to feed on, he has defiled me. Lozo's body was dragged by a guard outside the chamber.
A maiden rushed into the chamber, panting greatly, "my king the Queen has just put to bed..The king turns to look at her, "Hnmmm,(touching his long white beards) and what is the nature of this new seed of hers? the king asked in solemn anticipation .
"It is a male child my king(trembling).
"what did you just say? The kings countenance changed. And by this time the poor maid was already on her knees, she knew she was between life and death, the only thing that might save her is to chose her words wisely.
"My king, the new born baby is a male child".
King Zulian moved close to her and with his two hands he held her by her shoulders, his eyes were opened in surprise, and his mouth appeared agap.
"you mean Kamirah has provided me a male child?,
His mouth widened with a deep evil smile.
And for the first time in a very long time, king Zulian became happy, he had been expecting a male child ever since the accord was signed between himself and King Babarah, but all his six wives brought forth but female children, only Kamirah his seventh wife has proven to be worthy of Queenship.
"Guards, call for the council, sound the alarm, let everybody be merry, let the joy of my people be boundless, and let the lines of their ode be multiplied, for my hire has emerge and his reign shall be great even in my stead.
