Not famous, but truthful.

There was a time when I was much younger and doing popular theater shows in NYC and LA in the 80’s that I thought … well, maybe I’ll just do the whole agent and casting director thing and see what happens.

The only problem was that every time I had an opportunity to take a meeting with those people, or to attend a party, I couldn’t help but tell the truth, and even then I knew, that was a bit of a problem.

It made for entertaining evenings, but in the light of NY or LA industry meeting times, I knew that holding to my truth, while it would certainly allow me to keep my self-respect, probably wasn’t going to help advance my career at all … or my chances of becoming famous.

But that never really bothered me that much, so there you go … I guess I’m where I’m supposed to be … unfamous, mostly happy, and regularly inspired to keep telling my truth.
