They sure latch on to our hearts, don't they? We've had several dogs over the years. They each have a place. The ones we lost young seem to occupy more space though. We lost two Great Danes on NY Eve in 99. You'd think I could get over it, but I still get misty when I think about them. They were awesome dogs.
I pray the LORD may comfort you in that loss. Not sure if you noticed a couple of things; the compilation of scripture by my friend Amy, and also I truly believe that our LORD will restore our lost, innocent friends to us in the Glory. Just my opinion, but I believe I have a lot of support from both scripture and logic... Perhaps I'll devote a post to the topic one day. ;)
