Initial Thoughts
Do you know about the Singularity? Do you think it will be for the good of humankind? Some say without it life on earth faces certain destruction. The eventual destruction comes from what humans have technologically produced. For example, we could consider nano-tech, nuclear, and bio-weapons as agents of negative change. Moreover, humans will also design technological ‘cures’ for climate change even though some might argue that the whole idea is to have less of an impact on the environment.
The wide variety of knowledge presented on Steemit is incredible. For instance, the anarchists have a point concerning national government. However, they might be playing into the hands of the Singularity. A one world governance might leave no place to escape. AI, as a human technological creation, could prove the end of any possibility of freedom and liberty. What am I missing here?

Some economic philosophers believe that we made a great mistake by separating the value of money from precious metals. Enter the cryptocurrency rage. Cryptocurrency is currently being used to overcome the pitfalls of national money. This could be seen as another step in the evolution of the dissolution of money. It seems that very soon we will totally depend on AI, computers, and the Internet to control our currency and our well being.

The political theater of the day appears to be playing into the Singular movement. Bad actors are running around stirring up strife and division. Are you Democrat or Republican? Progressive or Conservative? Open borders or closed? Do you think people on the other side are misguided, evil, or just plain stupid? Whose side are you on? Who told you what to believe?
So, you do not like the person that was democratically elected? First of all, do you really know what you are talking about? Or are you merely watching the signs and shadows from the theater of Plato’s Cave? Two, do you think that unelected internationalist organizations such has the EU will provide more freedom and economic mobility?

There are many deep and dark forces at work in the world. But, everyday once I get outside I fall in love with the beauty of wherever I am. In the short time I have known it, I love Steemit it as a non-censoring platform. However, I am a new user and do not understand some of the schemes involved. For example, there is the act of up-voting yourself. That seems to be caging the system. In the long run, such schemes lack authenticity and might turn people off. What do you think?
