Yes! Love it. I never saw the first chapter but must have started reading a couple of chapters in. So I liked yesterdays revisit. But this is even better, bringing the scribe to life and giving some context for the covering letter.
That was the aim. I can also start to 'foreshadow' on the re-write - something I didn't have the ability to do before because I wrote the story as it came to me (I suppose that's one point in favour of pre-planning).
