How gorgeous is this red wolf?!! 🐺♥️
Red wolves are native to the southeastern United States. They live in my home state of North Carolina! 🐾
There are only 40 red wolves left in the WORLD...and the ridiculous thing is that their forest home is being clear cut to the ground at a rate of over 100 acres a DAY. 🌳 🐺💔
Who’s doing this?!? They’re called Enviva, and they have a track record of environmental abuse. 👎
Preying on low-income communities & communities of color, Enviva sweeps in and grabs thousands of acres of forest habitat for pennies on the dollar. Enviva then clear cuts the forests and sells the wood to Europe in pellets as “green fuel.”
