The Role Of Youth in Social Media

Bullying comes in all form, it can cause you pain both physicaly and emotionaly. Cyberbullying is a timely and one of the most common issues that has not been resolved up to this day. We've all been there, either as the victim or the bully itself, yet we still fail on resolving the issue. It is also one of the root cause for other social issues such as suicide and murder. As a human being, this could have been an issue that we can help minimize but instead, people turn a blind eye and choose to ignore it. When do you think this will stop? As long as nobody awknowledges or stands up for the bullied, the bully will continue. Instead of ignoring it in fear of being bullied as well, why not take the chance to protect. Not just for the victim but for the bully as well. Everybody has a story and its just a matter of understanding them. Bullies just don't bully for no reason at all, most of them bully because they are weak. Too weak to be understood and loved that's why they vent it to others their loneliness and anger. If we only take the time to listen and understand one another instead of turning the blind eye, then maybe, just maybe, slowly we can heal each other. Not just physically but emotionaly and mentaly as well. It maybe too much to work on but we'll have to start with our selves first.
