Stoicism.

I haven't watched this yet, but I've been witness to the griftification of Stoicism for a solid decade now. I've never been on board with Stoic philosophy, but watching it get strip mined by money-obsessed popularizers and influencers is truly sad. This is the same capitalist disease that infected western Buddhism under the brand name of Mindfulness. Take out all substance, all history, control+F your way through millenia of contemplative literature for the most marketable ideas that you can market to the dead souls of the corporate world. Beware anyone trying to condense an immensely complex philosophical dialog into a self help program full of banalities. You don't need to buy a fuckin course or talk to a life coach. The literature is there. It's fucking free. I've read tens of thousands of pages on Stoicism without spending a goddamn dime to make some rich fuck richer. I'm just waiting for these motherfuckers to come after my boys in the Ancient skeptic tradition next.
