i listened to the shiff video this morning.
there are valid points relating to the magnitude of the debt/borrowing, oil price, usd value, the potential inflation increase, the lack of economic growth fundamentals vs the amount borrowed, bond yields, global debt levels etc..
yes similarities in terms of volatility potential, but very different magnitude of values & different global climate.

definitely interesting from an observation pov.
