LOOTING IN SAINT MARTIN: TOURISTS TERRORIZED
In the wake of IRMA devastation, looting is rampant in Saint Martin. Mobs entered hotels, armed with various deadly weapons and looted tourists.
Last year I was staying at Grand case beach club and almost bought a house there. I had enough sense to dive into crime records of Saint Martin. Drug crime, murders and robbery is so common that I chose not to. Somehow I as a lawful resident will not be able to carry a gun!
1200 Americans have been evacuated.
Kindly resteem ( I never ask for it) so that the word spreads. Perhaps I will never go back. Others need to be aware. There are plenty of better places. I shall be in St. Croix soon.
Saint Martin needs to understand that what they did to tourists will be costly.

Criminals will always take advantage of a bad situation this is sad. when they most need to come together and help one another elements like this popup. With out the ability to protect yourself you are nothing more than a target. Police and military cannot be everywhere, that is why being able to protect your family and property is so important. No matter what regulations they put in place no mater what they take from the people, criminals will always have access to weapons wither it be a knife a gun or a club, that is what makes them criminals. taking away the ability of a good citizens ability to defend their family does nothing but make them a easy target. I hope the best for all those affected during this storm season.

I feel sad that you've experienced this beautiful island in its dark shades.
Sometimes it is good not to know.
Anyhow, being aware can save us from being disappointed.
