A: Do plants have an immune system?

  1. Plants have various kinds of adaptations on the surface of the earth stem or root or different parts of the plants.
    Plants have different adaptations like having waxy layer of cuticle are different types of adaptations for evolution to protect themselves from foreign Invaders like having tuber for the storage as a root.
    The foreign Invaders in case of plants are biological Invaders like different kinds of bacteria which are not free living.

  2. plants shed their malfunctioning cells by sitting of their bark or by falling their leaves
    .

  3. human activities does not have a huge impact on plants because plants immune system is not that developed as human and therefore depend on the hormones more appropriately phytohormones which are released in their body to fight against different types of diseases.
