RE: BE SERIOUS WITH BACILLUS CEREUS AND LISTERIA MONOCYTOGENES.
Although Bacillus cereus has been confirmed as food-borne pathogen associated with reheated food (especially Rice, some other cereals and vegetables), it has been indicated as the causative agent for bacteraemia in an immunocompromised host.
Does it mean that when we reheat our food we trigger the action of this microorganism? Then what of exposed fruit , should we wash it also with salt?
My dear, @steepup thank you so much for reading and am very sorry for not responding on time. yes, not reheating proper trigger these pathogens. I don't really understand what you mean by exposed fruit, I don't mind if you can explain better.
