Yes, these problems can be fully controlled, among some of the recommendations given is to install a mist eliminator on the top of the column to avoid entrainment related to foam formation, another recommendation would be to install active carbon filters before the column to remove the solids, inject antifoam in the column to avoid the formation of foam, control the flows of amine and gas that comply with the correct ratio to ensure a good process of sweetening and avoid hydraulic problems.
