Stellenbosch Wine Event

So I live in Stellenbosch which is a beautiful town filled with so much culture, excitement, events and energy. It’s been named the “Student Town” due to the Stellenbosch University Campus in the heart of Stellenbosch. If there is one thing that the people of Stellenbosch love, then it’s wine. Stellenbosch is situated in the middle of the wine route and surrounded by over 200 wine farms and wine producers. There are so many wine festivals to look forward to and with so many wine farms there is always a wine tasting to be attended.

The Wine Event I attended last night

Last night I attended one of these wine events and I though I would share the experience with you guys. One of the streets in Stellenbosch was booked out and different wine farms could set up their own booth and display the wines from their farms. People could just walk around from booth to booth tasting different wines from different farms.

There was such a nice vibe at the event! The street was decorated beautifully; there were benches to sit and chill and a guy playing live guitar and singing.

I think it was such a wonderful experience and a nice way to try different wines from different places. I am definitely going to be doing that again!
