Stellar, why i'm holding Stellar?

Stellar was one of the first coins i got. I bought my first lumens at 200 satoshis i ve seen the coin going from rank 30 to rank 6 at 6000 satoshis price.

and today i want to share my feelings with this coin but first let me share with you what Jed McCaleb said few days ago:

Stellar CEO: We Want to B Real Enough When this Dot.Com Bubble Pop

“Stellar is an open protocol for payments. If there is a digital dollar, there needs to be a real one somewhere. That’s what Stellar does. We have a Stellar consensus protocol. BTC uses pow. It’s an extremely expensive process. We have a way more efficient system. Not everybody has to agree on who you trust on the network.

He was asked bout the fork from Ripple:

“I left Ripple in 2013. They didn’t take it into the right direction. What we wanted to improve is the way that the tokens are distributed. Ripple set it up as a for profit company. Can you imagine the internet as a for profit? it’s a mistake. So, Stellar was set up as a nonprofit – I want to give out Stellar to as many people as possible. If you’re a developer, you can get tokens for a project, and if you have a wider projects, you can get it.

We want to give a $10 worth of Stellar to a lot of people, but the system is not rdy yet technologically (in terms of wallets, etc). We’ve been hiring like crazy over the last two months and we’ll be announcing something HUGE real soon.

So my feelings... are that i can't see any other project (maybe Ethereum) evolving at the speed of stellar, reassures me.

I check daily their announcements and twitter and it's allways moving.

if last year the HUGE announcement was the deal with IBM... which is gonna be now?

I insist I do not have any interest on stellar, but it is the crypto that has given me most joy so far and that's why I share it.

I wish stellar keep giving us!
