Did you know that the US throws away 40% of the food produced in this country every year? It is discarded in landfills to pollute the Earth.

There is no need for such waste.

Fruits that are past their prime can be made into vinegar or wine, some things can go to feed the animals, and other food can be put into the compost pile to make more Earth and grow more food.

This is part of how we achieve a negative carbon footprint at the Garden of Eden, and a key to our dank dirt that nurtures healthy plants!

YES we can all do something to make the world a better place!

I agree! Leftover food is great for jams, animal feed, worms and composting! No waste!

Exactly! A sustainable food production system can utilize everything!

It really is an incredible thing to be utilizing and alchemizing food that is to be waste into so many beneficial realities. There are layers of options we can all take to make this world a better place. This is a primo example of one such possibility. I'm grateful to see this in print!

May it inspire many!

great effort to make good environment and sustainable world for the next generation, i beleive that you have done the best part of your garden.

@jackpot

Thanks for your support!

It is spectacular as every detail is not wasted in your wonderful garden, it seems very good this way of using these fruits and vegetables because nothing is voted, because voting food is not good because there are many people in other countries that may not have not a piece of bread to eat. In that time you reuse that to make vinegars for meals for animals that many also go hungry, it seems very good on their part, today they show us another different way in which they give their contribution for a better world. I congratulate you @gardenofeden, continue with your good deeds that will be rewarded in health and happiness.

Thank you @alejo1996. In modern America it is too common for people to throw away food that is not actually expired and is still valuable as a resource. We hope to inspire people to reconsider how they value food!
