Is the internal median price stuck?
I look everyday at the internal median price on steemworld and it didn't change since the hf took place - it's standing at 0.86$ and the steem price was higher than that in the last 3 days, even now the steem price is at 0.87$ and some days ago it was at over 0.90$
So the question is: did the hf kill it
or is something wrong with steemworld? Or is it my brain ^^
Maybe @steemchiller knows more?
Fortunately, it has nothing to do with the Hardfork. The median price is determined by the top witnesses. So it's an average of all from the witnesses reported prices. Currently there is a huge difference between different exchanges.
I receive the data from https://coinmarketcap.com and I guess the witnesses use other price sources. It's difficult to say which price is correct, but I will continue to use CoinMarketCap.
Ah ok thank you for enlighting me.
Hmmm I think it's a good idea to continue use coinmarketcap.
