STEEM WARS: DAY 2: THE 80’s: TEAM AUSTRALIA Private Raff

in #steemwars7 years ago

The 80's ? Roger that!

Time to defend (not yet) my country! armed with my camera and a keyboard I'm going to fight, Mum!

I'm the 90's kid, but I'm living in 80's tho! But I still can't decided which one! ;)
Sometimes I have a feeling that Port Douglas is a big time machine. Especially when steam train passes me!
so we have 2017 or 1887 ? take a look at that and decide!

I'm surrounded by resorts built around 1980. For example beautiful Sheraton - 1987!.
The only one thing you need there is a glass of champagne with strawberry and relax.
The world outside of that resort seems to not exist at all!

luxury life is not for you? ok, time for beer then!
Established in 1878 ( so let's go to the 80's of 1800's again ) Central hotel definitely take you back in time...

Drink your pint of a golden beer, listen to local live music and chill out. no one will call you/text you/mail you for another... hmmm 120yrs? ;)

few meters after that one you have another pub - the Iron Bar - 1994 ( let's say late late 80's :D )
and there time really stopped. check that interior! look taken straight from bull-riding movies!

after that you have another place - The Court Hose Hotel - 1878!!
I told you - that city is a time machine!

Here you can find a lot more of that kinds of pubs and restaurants!

Proudly fought for you Oz!
