Randel Tolp is Coming to a Star System Near You!

Randel Tolp, interplanetary man of mystery! Some say he came screaming through a star on his way to steal from your mama. Others say he came screaming through a star after your mama beat him up. No matter who you get your story from two things are true, he went through a star and he was screaming like a baby.

On the run after a botched assassination made him the next target, he left his home world as the first man to ever escape the atmosphere on purpose. He claims to be from a subterranean city in a planet who's gravity went the wrong way round. Down was up and up was where he went. Drilling further and further into the planet until he popped inside to say “How do you do?” to the radical indoor sun! It gifted him with a one way trip off the ground to the deep reaches of space. In a strange metal tube he spun around and around the center of gravity until whoosh, off he went through solid rock to outer space. So he was tossed through a solar system or seven. So what if he just so happened to blast through one of their stars?

A gambler with a penchant for card games, he gets by when he wins and works when he doesn't. Lasers? What the heck are those? All he needs is cold steel and hot lead. Don't get between him and his caffeine if you don't want to see it up close. Don't give him alcohol either, too expensive for a fleeting feeling you regret in the morning.

Space-faring is hard when you're the first person you know to do it. The best way to make life easier? Latch onto someone else who knows what they're doing. That means the man's looking to make some friends. Anyone will do, but cold hard cash is always a plus. Catch him in recruitment before someone else does.
