Really great to read this brave and unapologetically honest bio snapshot. It's taken me a very long time to learn that it simply doesn't work for me to be around people who are toxic to me for whatever reason. No judgement has to accompany that awareness necessarily. It doesn't follow that these individuals are toxic in general. Just that they are for me, and no reason on Earth why I should subject myself to them. I don't owe anybody an explanation. My sole responsibility is to acknowledge that it doesn't work, and then go where I feel drawn instead :)
