How Close Is Bitcoin To John McAffee $1,000,000 Prediction?
As you probably know, during the 2017 bull market, John McAffee made a very popular prediction about Bitcoin price in 2020. He boldly stated that he strongly believes Bitcoin will reach $500,000 by the end of that year, otherwise he will eat his own dick on public television. A few months later, he claimed that the price will actually hit $1,000,000.
These statements led to some very interesting projects trying to keep up with this prediction. Among them, dickline.info, a site in which you can see where exactly the Bitcoin price is, and if the prediction may come true or false at the current trends.
So, even if Bitcoin gained some relevant traction during April, it seems it's still very far away from reaching $1,000,000 by the end of 2020.
It's actually 89% behind the prediction, which is quite a lot.
According to my calculation, if the current trend will continue, the maximum value for a Bitcoin at that time will be $13,321.
Of course, the trends aren't linear, and previous bull runs showed us the market can be very disruptive.
Even with that in mind, I think sometimes it's good to look at this kind of numbers and keep a balanced perspective: not too FUD, but not too FOMO either.

I could see, that if Bitcoin breaks $10k again, it will just keep pumping.
If it doesn't hit John's bet goals, I'm sure he'll say some BS about joking about it or something. I can't believe people follow him after the shilling he did and the latest blowout with SkyCoinProject.
I'm a member of SkyFleet and I always knew it would end badly.....it always does w/John! He's become especially un-hinged in the last few years just before the last bull run.
That's the problem with "influencers" they can make a project or they could tank it, just because they are pissed about something.
Thing about Mcafee's involvement is, he never really influenced the volume or price very much. Neither by his endorsement or dis-endorsement lol, if that's a word! Thank goodness for that
McAfee is a lunatic. Doesn't mean I don't love him for saying what needs to be said about gov't and taxation etx... just don't take financial advice from him when it's come to crypto's.

Actually the prediction is really hard to believe but we all know in the world of crypto where price volatility rules, nothing is impossible

I still beleive bitcoin price will surge higher and might reach John McAffee price prediction , when more people and organisation continues to adopt bitcoin as a currency of value @dragosroua
This website is very useful... I don't believe its price will get that high by 2020.. Even $100,000 is too ambitious!
There is nothing impossible if it can jump from below 1 $ to 20000$. Then it can also gain near 6k to 1 million. What we need is mass adoption of blockchain and then it will boom.
