হযরত ইবনে মাসউদ (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিতঃ হুযুর (সাঃ) এরশাদ করিয়াছেন,যে ব্যক্তি কুরআনের একটি অক্ষর পড়িবে,উহার বিনিময়ে সে একটি নেকী লাভ করিবে এবং এক নেকীর সওয়াব দশ নেকীর সমান হইবে।আমি এই কথা বলি না যে,পুরা আলিফ-লাম-মীম, একটি অক্ষর বরং আলিফ এক অক্ষর,লাম এক অক্ষর এবং মীম এক অক্ষর। (তিরমিযী)
