SteemSTEM Distilled #115
Our one-man distilled machine is still tied up in some particle collider's basement, so this week's 115th distilled will be authored by yours truly (whoever that is).
For those who do not know what SteemSTEM is, please take a look here or come say hi on Discord or in the Steem Chat.

Our top choices
Infection in the central nervous system. "Neurocysticercosis"
What better way to start off your week than by having a 5-metre parasitic worm living inside your intestines? Flat worms and all things alike such as this are notoriously terrible, and this one hits you right in the brain, causing potenttial seizures and even cognitive impairment. Here's a word of advice: Cook your pork. Check out this pleasant some more in this post!
NEWTON ON THE MOVE: Going Around The Bend
You couldn't escape Newton's laws even if you wanted to; they apply to the mechanics of the transport you'd be trying to escape with. From Tilting train tracks to the conservation of momentum, braking, sliding and rotating - all the things I do trying to get out of bed every morning - this post provides a valuable crash course into how valuable Newton was to the transport we take for granted. Thank you again for the support! I greatly appreciate the work y’all put forward in curating quality STEM material here on the blockchain! 🙏
And with our bot down, it's even harder work, I feel like we're back in 2017 =/ But we'll fight through it!
Kudos for getting Distilled out on Tuesday! The week is young :) I look forward to reviewing the selections. Congratulations to the featured authors.
Things are up in smoke at the moment with a broken bot and stuff but things are getting back on track!
Thank you again for including my publication among the highlights.
I am very happy about that, it is a great motivation to continue working and publish much more content on medicine :)
This one was particularly interesting for me, I love freaky worms and parasites
:O many authors received support this week
Great :D
Congratulations to users @carloserp-2000, @emperorhassy, @ulisesfl17, and @anaestrada12, for their outstanding contributions.
As always, they are very consistent!
I wish to be more consistent.
Thanks, Professor. You also contribute immensely to @steemstem through your wonderful posts. They are all exceptional posts and interesting to read.
