SteemSTEM Distilled #102
Here we are for our 102nd opus of the SteemSTEM distilled! As every week, the SteemSTEM community is waiting for you to pass by on the SteemSTEM discord server to get to know each other better and discuss this distilled further :)

We present today our top two handpicked post choices of last week, together with some statistics given at the end of this post. As usual, our selection committee consisted in a one-man team made of @lemouth. However, feel free to volunteer if you want to help us in writing this weekly post.
Please do not be discouraged if you did not make it on this issue. The chances to be picked are low. In the meantime, you may wish to check these guidelines for extra tips on how your writing could be more effective (or ask for a mentor on Discord).
Our top choices
Why Good People Do Evil Things?
What an interesting question to start this distilled with: why do good people do evil things? Yes, why? One of the core SteemSTEM supporter, @abigail-dantes, discusses this interesting question in her last post. She details several experiments trying to get insights on the matter, from the Milgram one to the Alcali one. Feel free to pass by and to participate to the lively debate in the comments.
Cartography - The Full Beginner's Guide
@lordneroo shares (on SteemSTEM) his passion for cartography for a very long time. With this post, he closes his long and detailed series that actually allows anyone to dig far into this field. Feel free to read the post and click on the various links to the 26 episodes that he wrote for us. Cartography should now have no more secrets for the SteemSTEM community!

Congratulations to @abigail-dantes and @lordneroo! I've read Abigail's worthy and memorable post, but not @lordneroo's. However, I'm a map addict. Can't get me to use a GPS. Give me a map:)
I have read several of the other supported articles. As always, a rich array of topics.
You may need some time for the one of @lordneroo: there are 26 articles hidden in there :D
I know, but...when my daughter came back from Paris she bought me a map of the Louvre. And when my son came from England he brought me a map of London. I really, really like maps :))
It looks like I should send you one of Lisbon, then 😃
😅😁
❤️
It looks like we have a map collector here. I will bring @agmoore2 a couple of them if I pass by NYC one of these days (if I remember well, @agmoore2 is form NYC). ;)
Oh ... New York ... I've never been. They make it too bureaucratic for Brazilians. Although, I cannot not visit the USA (especially NY). So, I better stop being lazy and get all that paperwork going :P. Otherwise, how can I take a map of Lisbon to @agmoore? She already said she is not coming here! 😆
We still have the snail mail option, haven't we? :)
Thank you @steemstem, thank you @lemouth for selecting my post this week. It truly pleases me that you found it interesting. Also,, thank you for the kind description you wrote to introduce my article. I also think this is an interesting question that could be discussed from many, many different angles :)
I wish you all a lovely evening.
Much love to you all always.
Thanks to you for being with us since ... the beginning actually. Not many know that you were once a SteemSTEM curator for instance ;)
❤️
Congrats to the hand-picked authors and to those that received votes. I'm honoured to have been among those that received votes too.
Nice selection @lemouth.
SteemSTEM rocks!
Thanks! We are also honoured to have you for so long :)
Look @lorneroo we both made it to the distilled this week 😃 How wonderful is that? See, there are great expectations for your new upcoming series :)
Congratulations !!
This was a special edition for the SteemSTEM pillars :)
It's an honor to see my work featured on another distilled. I know you feel the same way. Keep up the great work, @abigail-dantes, please keep providing us with those inspirational blog posts of yours.
Have a good day!
😘
Thanks for all the support, guys! You're the best, feels great to be a member of the SteemSTEM family.
And thank you for contributing to our community!
Congrats to the authors this week!
Thanks for them! :)
Awesome seeing a new post from @abigail-dantes! Thanks @lemouth for keeping distilled going!
I really try it hard, believe me. But it is at the cost of not doing something else (developing the app or curating) :D
Hey @tking77798 😃 ! It's great seeing you here and reading your warm, kind words! ❤
Mathematics is good.
