Although I am hopeful that stem cells from oneself will evolve into creating the tissue needed for reconstruction in order to avoid rejection issues. Plus ethically, I have some concern about how the individual cellular level knowledge would impact a person since DNA resides in every cell. I have read about people who received other body parts or transplants developing thoughts and behaviors similar to their doner. Could be if valid that it may create more problems down​ the road.
