I am all for this type of healing when possible. Deformities of any type have a huge physical and emotional impact on a person. New approaches to treatment are welcome.

Although I am hopeful that stem cells from oneself will evolve into creating the tissue needed for reconstruction in order to avoid rejection issues. Plus ethically, I have some concern about how the individual cellular level knowledge would impact a person since DNA resides in every cell. I have read about people who received other body parts or transplants developing thoughts and behaviors similar to their doner. Could be if valid that it may create more problems down the road.
