Wow! Interesting! I am just curious how could you quantify the amount of hydrogen produced by them?
btw will the cell burst if they produce too much hydrogen gas ? XDD

I did no quantity measurements, but we had means in the lab to do so. My focus was on qualitatively proving hydrogen production. I might write about it in the future :D
I think container in fuel cells holding hydrogen are safer than your typical fossil fuel tank iirc
In the lab the produced amount wasn't high enough for any big explosion to occure, but i did get E.coli all over my place when opening a test tube^^
