I insist on the last sentence of the post. Due to the difficulty to chose 7 posts out of more than 300 (we upvoted 331 posts last week), the distilled will be posted twice a week so that it could feature 14 posts.
Hey, this is the blockchain, you can't just print more articles like the government, it will cause devaluation. Specifically, the value of being featured in a distilled post will drop by 50%.
On the other hand, if you are posting on Monday or Tuesday, this will also allow more people to read you (and perhaps upvote you) before payout's time. Therefore, I guess there is an increase in value :)
Two times a week. That's great. That will make the competition little bit easier and more authors would be able to feature in it. Great!

What! More than 300!! It's still really tough. And it's more tough for the steemstem curators and selectors to choose the better ones in a short span of time. Hats off for that.
I feel SteemSTEM team is one of the most hardworking communities in steemit. :)
It is not a competition, but I guess we are within the top ones for sure.
