Forgetful – A Bad Habit or Serious Health Problem?
Just by reading the title, I must say you are now contemplating yourselves, Isn’t it?
Not remembering is quite embarrassing nowadays, from not recognizing of a person to forgetting the exam’s answers are a common scenario in the society. Unless if one person is trying to forget or hiding something and wanted to forget about something. Hmmm.
Memory
All animals and humans have the capacity to acquire, retain and retrieve information - the very essential ability of most living things.
The human brain is masterful at recognizing patterns of recurrence, be they sensory, motor or cognitive.Factors which influence these prerequisite skills can produce a profound impact on memory. In addition, some internal cognitive aspects of functioning such as reasoning and organization produce secondary effects on measured memory skills. In addition to these factors, assessment of memory must consider the emotional functioning of the person being assessed. Severe psychopathology such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder can have an obvious and profound effect on memory; however, even mild depression and situational anxiety can produce subtle but predictable effects on memory performance which may be detrimental or enhancing.

How memory works…
Memory refers to the process of remembering. To remember things, it is needed to pay attention first. After paying attention, people must encode the information (do something meaningful with the information, much as like rehearsing it to put into storage). Once the information is in storage, people must be able to retrieve the information as needed.
Okay this will be it, enough with sciences! Memory topic is very broad to discuss in here so I just provided some hints of what memory is.

Absentmindedness
It is not that we forget, we just don't want to listen and daydreaming out of the topic. Which is occasionally happens in school... Am I right or am I right?
You had a bad experience from it.
Best example here is break-up from you ungrateful ex. You just want to forget how much you want to break his face into pieces! Oppss!
You’re trying to conceal it.
Here you forget by hiding the truth. Secrets.
You forget things intentionally.
I’m sure many of you relate to this, how about having debts to someone? Did this reminds you of overdue debts? Hahaha. Same goes with me!
