Don't get bogged down and confused by the influence of mass media. Exercise your human right of asking WHY? Then, analyze the answers for scientific backup, and use your logic and intuition too. If the claims and information ticks all the boxes, accept them as truth. We must take our health and well-being into our own hands.
It is for these exact reasons that I am so excited about @steemstem. To gain support from this community, you have to write honest, scientifically backed posts. You cannot just suck stuff out of your thumbs.
It's hard work to read through the academic literature and validate your writing. But when it comes to peoples health, it is our responsibility to provide the most accurate information possible.
