This is particularly interesting as it's been recently suggested that lightning brings in a lot of antimatter. One more reason to be cautious during a thunderstorm. Informative article, and the SteemSTEM initiative is great!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing this useful information. Lightening contains a lot of heat energy, it basically creates plasma. Maybe antiparticles are created in the process and annihilate rapidly.
