You took amazing photos of this beautiful planet. I have one question. If we take photo of the Sun directly with a camera, will it get damaged if we spend just a few seconds? What precautions one should take while taking photos of the sun?

Sort:  

Depending on the focal length, a fraction of a second is enough to destroy the camera or your eye if you look through the viewfinder. Never work without special filters and be very careful. Better the camera is broken than your eye.

As Kevin says, point the camera at the sun at your own peril! Having said that I've never had a problem with wide angle lens/slow normal lenses (so long as you don't keep it pointing at the sun).
