I think I can translate that, intuitively. "You've outdone yourself" we say in English, if I am correct.

I had a goal. That gave my research added interest.

If you only knew what a simple woman I am. To be able to share something that might be of use...wow, that really makes my day.

By the way, I've been listening to German poems on and off since I read yours. I'm picking up different accents and realizing that some are easier to understand than others. Just like English :))
