Before anything can be proven, emotion must be left out. Only the facts. Generating an opinion before then would be premature. Calling foul before knowing (and I mean KNOWING, not just being convinced) creates nothing but FUD and enemies needlessly.
I understand you feel strongly about your position, but it's important to reserve judgement until all evidence is examined.
tl;dr - Jumping to conclusions (no matter how convinced you may be - you yourself are calling for an investigation meaning you still need more information) is bad.
