To Unify The Belts....For Undisputed King-ship!

No longer a question of if, but when! UFC 219 on December 30th still has no venue, or main event. In fact there is no event yet because if The Notorious One returns, the entire fight card must be stacked with entertainment and value. It will be an incredible night the king of lightweight returns to a formidable opponent...and oddly enough only his second challenger at 155 pounds. If the casual audience and Nate Diaz gets his rubber match, then Khabib vs. Ferguson will be in the works...that is a great fight but everyone wants to see Conor truly tested. A wrestler and submission specialist would pit Conor to the brink of his style, and test him to his max potential yet again, just like Diaz was able to bring out of him...
Tony just won the interim title but is seen to most as the current lightweight champion. With the longest streak in lightweight history, and the most unorthodox fight style we have arguably ever seen, Tony just might be the man to expose the Irish man again. The thing with Conor, is that his left hand is so powerful, it is an anomaly in combat. He can penetrate most any defense and if there is a flaw in one's defense, he will exploit it. The southpaw stance and massive stature of the former featherweight champ comes as a surprise to everyone fight night, but El Cucuy has his tricks up the sleeve.... The boogeyman that Tony is creates a weird chaos in the division, nobody really wants to fight him...and that is why we are so interested.
A striker's delight will be the end result of a fight like this. Only a platform such as the UFC could develope such a matchup as these styles aren't seen anywhere else in the world. Tony is a free flow striker and grappling hybrid, whereas Conor is an absolute pure striker who adjoins his mind and left hand simultaneously. Both men have incredible reaction time with piss poor head movement, and both men possess traits of the other man's weakness. Tony has cardio, volume and a real brazilian jiu jitsu black belt under Eddie Bravo, he can hurt Conor with these...
but he has also show he is susceptible to southpaws with solid power (cough cough Michael Johnson). Regardless, this will be on for the ages when it finally gets made!
WHO DA FOOK IS DAT?
Conor should be focusing on UFC now :D
Absolutely!
I'd rather see Conor fight Ferguson.
I believe we will.
Thank you for posting this lovely moment in time for you. Followed...
Your post up is impressive. Followed @steemsports
Congratulations it's beautiful @steemsports . Must feel great - that is a lot of work!
I really hope Conor fights Tony. Tony is so unorthodox and fun to watch. Their fight would definitely get fight of the night. It will get real interesting if we see tony get Conor on his back
