Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick should be enjoying their off season after another dynamite year that ended in the Super Bowl. But the duo have been taking shots at each other is the media over the last few weeks and it is signaling that there may be trouble in paradise. Tom Brady was asked if he felt that he was being treated fairly and appreciated enough by Belichick and owner Robert Kraft over the weekend. Brady responded with, “I plead the 5th.”
The golden pair of head coach and quarterback are thought to be the best combo in the history of the NFL. They have had un matched success and have become the longest lasting dynasty since the Super Bowl was created. Brady and Belichick have won 5 Super Bowls. It is simply amazing. And they have made a total of 8 Super Bowls. That 5-3 record is extremely impressive. Compare that to the love that Lebron James gets in the NBA for a 3-5 Finals record…
Tom Brady might be the best quarterback off all time. It is easy to make that argument. And Bill Belichick might be the best coach of all time. But are they ready for a split? Belichick has hinted that he is ready to find the air apparent to Brady and even considered making a move last weekend in the quarterback rich draft. I mean, Tom Brady will turn 41 years old in August.
But Brady said once again on Saturday that he wants to play into his mid 40’s. And why shouldn’t he? He is still playing at the highest of levels. He threw for over 500 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. It was the defense and coach Belichick that should get the credit with the loss and not Brady. More times than not, when you put up 33 points in the Super Bowl, you are the winning team.
Will anything happen to jeopardize the New England Patriots upcoming season? I think cooler heads will prevail and the coach and his quarterback will hug it out and be just fine.

Excellent post...why do I feel Brady may just be getting (at his age and success) tired of the whole damn thing..lol...what say you?
