"Cebuano steemians do dribbles also"

Sunday, March 4, 2018. @steemph.cebu held a basketball session headed by master @jassennessaj together with the other core leaders. Firstly, I saw master jassen's post about having a basketball session every sunday. He also highlighted the venue, the time and the date.

I find it very interesting since it was my first time to see something like that in steemit, It seemed like new to my eyes for it promotes being fit and active. And lucky us, we dont have to pay for the venue because master jassen got our back!

also I can barely see blogs related to physical activities which is a very important matter to tackle with.

The purpose also of having this event is to develop the bond of the cebuano steemians through playing basketball. It's like a many to one relationship wherein the event is a basketball game session but we can attain different valuable things out from it.

Not just to develop one's skills in basketball but also to make a strong bond as well as to promote steemit to non-steemians.

I was supposed to attend the 1st week of the steemit basketball session but unfortunately, I got busy doing other stuff. I saw a lot of posts regarding to the said event and I admit that I was a bit regretful about the opportunity but I was relieved then when I knew that there would be a next time and the basketball session will happen every sunday morning.

So I finished all my stuff so that i would be able to attend this time.

So here i was with my co-cebuano steemians.

The 2nd week of the steemit basketball session

As we were walking on our way to the venue, the ambiance of the place is peaceful and refreshing. It was like a residence for there were a lot of beautiful houses as we go along to the court. The place is surrounded with trees and a lot of greens.

It even had a pool for the people who live there.

We then arrived to the gymnasium wherein I was not expecting seeing master @jassennessaj playing actively in the game. He arrived first together with other steemians.

Since they were already playing, we just watched their game and waited for our turn to play. At first, I thought there were just few steemians inside the court but when I knew that all of them are steemians, I was literally shookt out. Seeing a lot of number of steemians who play basketball is amazing!

Here are the list of the steemians who attended the event. There were really many of us which really means that steemit can be a tool to promote physical fitness and do some recreational activities involving steemians.

And they were not just mere players who just play basketball for fun but mos of them were really good in basketball! They got the height, the moves and everything! The things i learned on that day really impressed me.

Until it was our time to play

At first, i got conscious since i didnt know them yet. They grouped us randomly which was a very good idea.

We really enjoyed the game though it was quite tiring.

I was happy that I gained new friends because of the game.

After the game, master @jassennessaj had a short talk about the future plans. He also planned to have a steemit basketball league which there will be teams to compete to an actual basketball game with committees and referees.

And regarding to the planned steemit basketball league, he and the core leaders decided to accept jersey designs days ago, and here were the chosen designs to be voted.

And the third one was @melsmacan's design

The voting system was to choose your bet from A, B and C designs and line in front of the person holding it. And aftrr the process, MAJORITY WINS!

@dopenthezone's entry won the voting procedure. His design is nice for it was a revisable type of jersey, it will be used for the upcoming steemit basketball league.

We then took few walks after the game, we planned to have our lunch at Mang inasal!

At first we went to Grandmall's mang inasal but it was quite small to cater 20 persons. So we decided to go to tamiya's mang inasal. It was crowded, literally but it was bearable though.

I gained new set of friends who were very approachable and friendly. They answered all my questions about steemit. They were also fun to go with.

We really enjoyed the unlimited rice! The waiter got tired of refilling our plates for more rice. Indeed, Men really eat a lot.

After that, we splitted to our each destinations. We really had fun together with them! It's very amazing to know people with the same forte you have 😊 Steemit is not just a mere platform to earn from your posts but it has much more about it.
