Yeah, it absolutely is! It feels like it has been forever since the first design competitions began, and now we're here; ready to go!
I know! Next year we will have a better plan of action so that people can prepare and save up for longer!!
That sounds smart! Did you run into a lot of people who wanted one, but who did not have enough Steem to buy it?
Definitely some. It was a combination of that plus people not having enough time to get their funds together/power down to get as many as they wanted. Additionally, some people suggested things just came too soon with it and that it wasn’t clear from the beginning with a timeline!
Ah, that makes sense. Organizing things like this is a huge challenge, so I'm sure it will be a bit easier to make it all smooth for each year you do it. I think you did a great job by the way! But I see the point that they might want a clearer timeline, especially if they want to buy many of them.
It is all worth it though when the product is complete and everyone is happy with their purchase!!
