The Eagle Has Landed!

Hiya friends!

Well it has been almost 2 weeks since the MR3 and things are getting shiny around here! Today I went to my PObox and lo and behold, not only were there a couple cheques in there, but also, one of my prizes from the Monster Raffle and, ANOTHER Christmas card from @summertooth!!!
(I’m not sure if he forgot he already sent me a kick-ass Walking Liberty or not, lol, but i was pretty damn happy about what i received from him today! — Dude, your Lambo is en route!

I absolutely adore Peace Dollars! They might just be my favourite American Constitutional coin design of all time — after the St. Gauden’s Eagle that is. And so i was very happy to have one land in my lap today with a cool card from one of my SSG pals. Both @summertooth and i are mad for the Beatles and i have found that no one i have ever met who is a true Beatles fan is a dick, and that instead they are usually very friendly, funny, generous and easily likeable — and @summertooth certainly lends empirical evidence to my theory 😜👍

Y’all see what i mean? Thanks @summertooth! I love this coin and it certainly helps to ease the pangs of stackitus i’ve been feeling lately, and indeed, much to assuage the ferocity with which my balls have been submitted to in the last couple weeks! Thank god for the stack when the crypto space decides it’s time for a good ol’ ass-whuppin’!

So @summertooth’s eagle landed and that was awesome, but i also got yet another eagle i wasn't expecting. Check this thing out: i used to have one as a kid (i have always been a coin nerd), and i remember thinking how cool the design was — what with an eagle landing on the Moon!

I forgot to take a picture of the obverse, but if i recall, this one is from 1972 and has 40% Ag in it. It sure has a deep lustre about it, and regardless of its composition, i really dig this coin! And it has brought back some fond memories from a long time ago...

So yeah, that all happened! 😁🤩😁🤩😁

And I went for a little ride on the sea-bus over to North Van to pick up another cheque for some work i did last week.

And call me a damn fool, but i plugged a fat wad of it into my own bitcoin ATM and walked away with a 0.2 of the mo-fuckin’ good stuff at what i consider to be very low prices. Much of it has already been “spread around” and hopefully, i have successfully btfd. But who the hell knows? I’ve been trying to catch knives for months, but i ain’t no Freddy Kruger!

And, i am confident in my choices, and a sometime lethal trader! We shall see how this works out as Time always tells the truth.
