Oh yes! The Curse of the Nymph and the Holy Hand-Grenade...

Did you know that there is evil lurking below the waves?

It takes all forms and can appear at any time

And thwarting desire and scuttling ships is what this menace of the deep is most prone to do. Sometimes appearing as a phantom-terrible and sometimes simply occuring as a Force that cannot be qualified nor quantified, and one that is beyond that which can be empirically known.

But just as there is evil out there to be reckoned with, so too are there forces for Good. Take for example our magical Precious, who steadfastedly lavishes her blessings upon about 70 of us. She knows the seas well and has been a wonderful guide for many of us. Hi Precious!

Supporting this mythical creature has had the most wondrous effects, i can assure you! A few days ago i won a stanky old Libertad in one of @raybrockman’s contests, and then just yesterday i won an amaze-ballz “Morgue-Anne” from @fat-elvis. This one ⤵️

Now t’is true i am a lucky pirate, and indeed a greedy one, but i am also generous mofo both with the ssg-community writ large, but also, in many other cases on a more personal level. So do you know what i would agree “luck” is?

Luck = Opportunity + Preparation

Nothing more and nothing less. Now we all have plenty of opportunity around here, particularly with winning some shiny, but how well are you actually prepared?

Many humble-grumble when they do not win — and especially when i do — but folks, c’mon, this is mathematics, not hope-science! I bought 40% of the tickets for @fat-elvis’ draw and...yup

I won! Thanks again @fat-elvis!!! In the midst of an absolute shit-storm @fat-elvis has managed to hold a killer raffle as well as make a post and donation to the #monsterrafflethree. Now there’s an asskicker i am all to happy to support — ‘cause even if i hadn’t won, i would’ve been happy to have sent some loot his way for offering up such a beautiful round.

Which of course brings me around to talking about more beautiful rounds, and coins, and bars etc.

The MONSTER RAFFLE III is going live in less than 2 weeks! There is already a very handsome pile of loot to choose from should you win, but shouldn’t this pile be a little shinier?

67 different accounts got an upvote from Precious last week, and these are the people who will directly benefit from the MR3, but only like 22 members have donated, or about 1/3. Without trying to sound nasty — that is pathetic! We are a silver-stacking forum primarily, and a community of asskickers (apparently...) so why have we had such little participation?

So that brings me to a contradiction... which is about bloody time for being the raging hypocrite i am — behold, the Holy Handgreanade

Just what is the HOLY HANDGRENADE? Well, it is that piece of spiritual magic — that is made out of 999 silver and weighs at least an ounce! — that SSG members contribute to the MR3, and as a result of which, are afforded the metaphysical wonderment and the motion that translates into good luck

I’ll tell you this: i feel lucky as a mofo, with tickets in the MoRo, not ‘periencing the fomo, just dippin’ in like a yo-yo!
