Over/Under for Hurrican Harvey Cleanup

The cleanup costs for Hurricane Katrina came in at over $108 Billion. That was 10 years ago.

When all is said and done, I see a minimum of $300 Billion to cleanup after Hurricane Harvey, and I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to see $1/2 Trillion!

There is no way that this does not affect the price of gold and silver.

Please do not get me wrong, I feel for the people in Houston. I have friends outside Houston in Conroe and I'm very concerned for them. I do not want to 'profit' at the expense of others misery.

That being said, the "Manipulators" have been playing a very dangerous game by holding down the price of Gold and Silver. They will eventually lose control, and when they do, it will be due to circumstances they either did not foresee or are out of their control (e.g. a massive hurricane beating down the 4th largest city in the US.).

Gold and Silver's next leg up will be "event driven". We just have to watch the events and wait for them to lose control.
