Alert: 2018 Rwanda Lunar dogs issues

Some of you have already seen my Apmex unboxing I posted earlier during the week. I must show everyone the problems that are popping up all over the place with these Rwanda Lunar Dogs.

I did a video on youtube about this and it started a craze. At first I thought these where milk spots.

Well after my video. @sbsparts noticed he had the same issue with some of the Rwanda coins. He opened one up and noticed a strong plastic smell and was able to wipe of the white residue with a cloth. So now we know the white residue is not milk spots.

If not milk spots, what is it?

Some people are speculating it could be PVC in the protective plastic. But at the end of the day, we are not sure what it is.

We are trying to get Apmex to look deeper into this situation and possibly test the plastic to rule out PVC..

I have already sent my coins back for replacement..

It's still hard to belive that a mint uses PVC bags for their coins they should know better. Until now all my Rwanda coins looks fine.

I hope they continue to look fine..

Man you always getting the short end of the stick. Sucks man

I do don’t I. Poured Silver don’t have these problems

i just got the santa maria nautical coin in that same plastic i hope it doesnt do the same thing?

I hope not, but been seening a lot with the problem...Thank you owen.

After you showed this I know I am not buying any. @silverwolverine

I debating it. I need answers from Apmex or the meyer mint..

I think it was a defective batch of plastic. All my Rwanda coins did not smell (the plastic) when I put them in capsules nor exibited anything like milkspots.

Yes that could be the case...Ok hope this only a small batch..
