Proper Storage for Precious Metals
How to Store Silver
If you are a stacker - you end up with needing somewhere to store you precious metals. There are several options to go with, and they all have their merits but in my mind there is only one option.
Option #1
At the bank safety deposit box!
Pro's:
- Limited access to individuals (including you)
- Relatively cheap
Con's
- If you don't hold it, do you really own it?
- Can you really trust the bank with your fiat and your silver?
Option #2 Home Safe
Pro's
- Keeps it safe from your kids, wife, or family members who may have sticky fingers.
Con's
- Nothing screams like, hey crack head - over here, spend all your time getting me open or out of the house.....
Option #3 Buried or Hidden
Pro's
- Nobody is going to find it - not even you
Con's
- You are not going to remember where you put all of it...
- When you die, you family will curse your name looking for it
Option #4 - Where Ever you can
Pro's
- No one actually believes your that stupid and assume they are all Alibaba fakes - with a few invoices tossed in
- Easy access to play with your silver like Scrooge McDuck
- One Premium Door Stop!!!
Con's
- ..... You kids know the truth and slowly steal your whole stash for their own!!
Its a good thing I don't have any silver
.... I just buy some for pics and then sell it all back at a loss to generate content.. I am making my fortune in STEEM right now.

I keep the entirety of my material wealth on top of my closet next to my gun and a bunch of used up CR123 batteries. I wonder if I'm up to 3 ounces total yet...

Lol the 123s are from training. Gun lights, lasers, and night vision all run on em, so they mean the lead works super good. ;)
Right, but why are you saving used ones????
I'm not sure lolol I've always done that and it's always presented a pain in the ass... Any idea what to do with used batteries?
