Can't Beat a Bit of Bulley
Just want to pay my respects to the great entertainer Jim Bowen who sadly died today, Bullsey was probably one of the best game shows ever made and Jim Bowen came from my neck o' the woods and entertained us all for years, as they say theres nothing in this game for two in a bed so lets look at what you could have won!
Today my Black Bulls of Clarence arrived, i got 2 x 2oz silver and a 1/4 gold and i have to say they are as magnificent as all the others have been, i have been working hard to put a set of 1/4 golds together and when its complete it will be a set that i physically would not be able to afford to buy, so very cool that i will own it!
Here we have Clyde the wonder cat having a good nosey at the precious, i can see it in his eyes he is plotting my demise and wanting the gold all to himself but i already know what he is planning and i will have to be careful walking down stairs, thats where he likes to attack!
So lets have a closer look at the sexy ass beasts:
And finally the beatutiful bull, it was a proper satisfying feeling pushing it into its designated slot, its new home with his beast buddies, but with 5 more to collect is the box half full or half empty? hmmmm.
What has changed is the coins come sealed in a cardboard pouch when bought from the Royal Mint, i will be keeping one of the bulls unopened in its original packaging, also the 2oz silver no longer come in screw capsules but just ordinary push fit type which spoils my set all being in the same screw type.
So there we go, the amazing Black Bull of Clarence has been added to the stack and im now eagerly awaiting the next release and have already started saving up for it :)

I have been buying these with £5 notes, if i get a fiver in my change i have to put it away, if i go fill up with petrol i now put £25 in instead of £30 so i get £5 change and friday night pizza no longer has an extra topping so its under £15, anything to collect fivers and its working a treat, i saved up £475 since last release which was enough to buy the 1/4 and a couple of 2ozers and some left over as a start to saving for the next ones.
That's a great way to do it.... And there I was collecting 20p in my change! Think I need to up my game.
haha, ive always collected change, 20ps and 50ps add up but my dad started collecting fivers and had £2500 of them when they changed to plastic ones and i thought ill have a bit of that, it works and they build up fast and before you know it your running to the shop with a tenner to buy a curly wurly just to get a fiver in your change to put away for gold, and the look a till operating freak gets when they dare give me 5x £1 coins, im not allowed back into the local co-op lol
Jim Bowen did not make our news here. Mr Stephen Hawking died and gets all the attention.
There is a great conspiracy theory that Stephen Hawkings died many years ago and NASA used an actor to push certain agendas and there is an even crazier conspiracy that someone with a bendy bulley actually won a speedboat!
Those beast coins are a thing of beauty. I love the display case too, is that custom or bought through the Royal Mint?
Such a nice collector series, especially in gold. 1/4oz is a great size for a collectors gold coin. Nice size to hold and easy to display nicely in a case.

Thank you, i got the case from an ebay seller in Germany, i thing powercoin in italy have started selling them, they are not official but they do the job nicely. Just bought a custom box for the 2oz silver, i do like a nice display box :)

Rip Jim. I was more cut up about his death than of "wheels". I might be bias but the dragon is my fav. Great collection, I don't have any of the beasts but I think I might make a start.

I had a this feeling they would after the 1oz silver dragon proof had not got a screwtype. bet golds next....
The unicorn i got from them came in that white card package. alot better as had capsules damaged before from them. shoddy packaging.
I really only buy from them for the screwtype capsule and is another totally stupid thing to do while part way through a series.. Just like changing the fields. did it on the lunars did it on beasts...why oh why.
It's the small details that matter the most. a Set with different looking & opening capsules gonna spoil it totally..may as well buy one from goldsilver.be at around £29 where as rmb £43 something today. just makes no sence if not a scretype cap. #gutted whats a guy to do..
I do have 10 capsules for them came with the box i bought and gave 2 to my girls with the unicorns i gave them for xmas..

Yea it bugs me when they keep changing things, i bought the last 2oz ers from somewhere else because they were cheaper than RM and was disappointed they didnt have screw capsules so i went back to RM and now they dont have them, grrrrr. But ive bought a box for the 2oz silver and that comes with capsules so, oh i dont know my ocd just cant take no more hahah, the 1/4 screw capsules dont fit in the box either so i have had to swap them too, and dont get me started on the 2oz elemetal coins!!!!
All i gonna buy from them now is gold..But thats RM for you. expect the worst and you will still be dissappointed somehow...
