Off To London Later Today
This Time It's a little bit different to every other time.
My youngest brother just got back from a trip to new york. I was planning to go down this weekend anyway to see them all, my mum and my 3 brothers.
Before he left I asked him to try and find me some silver...what ever was as close to spot...that was the mission, but apparently, the one shop he did find was high end.
I spoke to him last nite on the phone. He did say he had got some coins, Dollar coins.
So I'm happy either way. My other instruction was bring back something for me..if you cannot find silver...
So he said one has Madison on it and another the statue of liberty.
I don't know much about us coinage but I do know these to me sound Like commemorative dollars.
Fact is my bro got them and brought them all the way home for me. So no matter what they are I'll be happy.
He said they look gold in colour I guess they, Copper with manganese brass cladding:
As certainly cannot be gold. Plus a few others...
Mega excited now to go down as now I live in the Midlands around 150 miles away north of London. or I would of been there yesterday.
No matter what the coins are they will be keepers.
I'll post a few pics on my return and hopefully, someone will know more infinformationout them.
@ronaldoavelino has been doing a few post on what i think these coins could be but not graded maybe circulated. but that don't matter to me...Something is always better than nothing.
Have a good weekend guy and gals thats all from me.

Hey Rox, those are actually just regular one dollar coins. There was a series minted from 2007-2014 where they produced coins of all of the US presidents that have died. The coin composition
Copper with manganese brass clad (copper 88.5%, zinc 6%, manganese 3.5%, nickel 2%)
The man I just looking forward to some coins from the USA have a few but not many...He was there with the girlfriend so...he couldn't go hunting too much. Thx for the info.
No problem brother. If you ever want to trade some coins let me know. I’d be glad to trade with you👍
