I think you may have been looking at the 2017 edition. The 2018 edition just came out...and also they're premium quality coins.
Yes, the 2017 anniversary addition was costly, but I will just keep my eye out on aftermarket Krugerrands in the Dubai Souks, where they sell based on the gold content and quality, plus a small markup for profit, which usually is about $35. I'll let the first guy take the hit, just like a new car and picking up the used car on the lot with low miles.
