Crypto trader bit by the silverbug - just got into silver 2 weeks ago and have a nice stack started
Hey everyone, so my quest for silver begun about a month ago when one of my good buddies (who happens to be Canadian), whips out a little pouch of 5 Canadian Maples and shows them to me. Instantly I was intrigued and taken aback by the awesomeness of the bullion in front of me; the shininess was getting to me and I needed to learn more.
I'm a recent college graduate and I've been trading cryptos for about a year and a half (but never any other asset classes such as stocks, currencies, or precious metals), so they idea of differentiating fiat currency versus real money did not occur to me until about a year ago... it was just something I never really noticed. Once my friend awoke my inner silverbug with his Maples, I did some more research on silver and gold and thought "wow, it's like if someone took the idea of cryptocurrency and applied it to tangible money!" (I know, I know, ironic right..? Don't blame me, I am still young, dumb and learning ;) ).
Anyway... 2 weeks later and my stack is up to a pretty good start. As my crypto profits have grown, I've decided to diversify some of my profits out of crypto and protect them for a rainy day. I do not have much need for extra fiat in the bank (I'd rather use a crypto debit card), so silver and gold are the perfect way for me safely lock in some profits!
Here is my stack so far (I have so more coming in the mail so it will continue to grow):
Some of my favorites pieces in my stack (so far):
My daily pocket carry piece (shout out to all my hodlers):
My sack of silver (holding my bullion in a leather pouch kind of makes me feel like a pirate or knight... it's awesome):
What kind of stuff are you guys stacking???
Congrats bro! You too have solved the riddle of the alchemist’s...
Very fine work!
the riddle of the alchemist's..? sounds like a harry potter book lol
The alchemists are famed for their unyielding quest to turn base metals into gold.
I have used this metaphor to describes “us” as alchemists who have solved this riddle — except we do it with paper — or in the case of crypto profits: with nothing at all!
